On 16 February, at Sinne gallery, artist, curator, and researcher Agnė Bagdžiūnaitė presented a performative talk titled Conversation With The Anti-fascist Hat at the Everlasting Soup exhibition/canteen. The event invited visitors to engage in a multisensory experience, including the sampling of edible elements, as part of a critical and imaginative exploration of memory, labour, and resistance.
Through an imagined dialogue with the director of a preserved Lithuanian canteen—maintained as a monument to the industrial and Soviet past—Bagdžiūnaitė reflected on the personal and collective experiences shaped by occupation, political change, and everyday survival. The performance considered the canteen not only as a site of nourishment but also as a space of historical tension and remembrance.
